Nine civilians killed, including one child, 15 injured in junta airstrike in Ngapali

A junta military aircraft bombed Ngapali in Thandwe Township, Rakhine State, last night, resulting in the deaths of nine civilians, including one child, and injuring 15 others.


According to initial reports, the individuals who lost their lives are Nwe Nwe Myo, Tin Myint, Thone Pon, Win Win Shwee, A-Nge, Soe Kyaw Win, and three others from Kyin Kan Gyi Village, Linthar Ward, Ngapali Township.


The individuals who sustained injuries include Maung Htun Htun Win (age 13), Ko Kyaw Win Naing (age 20), U Win Naing (age 56), U Maung Maung Naing (age 31), U Maung Ngo (age 35), U Thein Htun Oo (age 48), U Ko Lin (age 48), U Phoe Win (age 73), Ko Aye Min Htun (age 26), U Maung Tha Phyu (age 46), Daw Win Win Zaw (age 31), Ma Nwe Nwe Oo (age 23), Daw Pa Pa Lin (age 48), Daw Pon Chi (age 63), and Daw Tin (age 81).


Several individuals who are injured are in critical condition, and the death toll is expected to rise.


The Myanmar Junta Air Force conducted two airstrikes on the village at approximately 8 pm on the 29th while the residents were watching television inside their homes.
