Myanmar Junta Troops Pushing Into Mandalay’s Singu

The military has launched fresh offensives into Mandalay Region’s Singu Township after reclaiming nearly all of Madaya from the resistance.

Troops reportedly pushed north into Singu on Wednesday, two days after securing control of villages on the Madaya–Singu border on National Highway 31.

Sources said four columns moved north from Madaya while additional units pushed south from Thabeikkyin upriver in what appeared to be a pincer attack.
