Mizzima

The Myanmar Air Force attacked Mindat, Chin State, with 500-pound bombs at 6:25 pm and 10:30 pm on 1 April, local organizations reported.

The junta’s bombing of Chin State occurred in the aftermath of an earthquake, centred near Sagaing and Mandalay, which caused widespread damage and requiring urgent relief efforts.

“There were no casualties as there were no people present, but some buildings and houses were damaged,” Salai Yawman, head of the Mindat Township People’s Administration, told Mizzima.
