Myanmar Junta Jets Bomb Ponnagyun Town

The Myanmar junta Air Force launched an airstrike on Ponnagyun Town in Rakhine State using two fighter jets this morning.
According to local sources, the two aircraft flew over the town at approximately 9:00 AM on May 15. The jets targeted several residential neighborhoods and the critical Ponnagyun-Rathedaung intersection.
"The bombs directly struck the Ponnagyun-Rathedaung intersection," a local resident reported. "We do not know yet if anyone was killed or injured."
Because the military targeted central residential zones, casualties may be limited. Most inhabitants had already fled the area due to recent nearby fighting.
Narinjara is currently investigating the full scale of the structural damage and potential casualties.
