Myanmar Junta Dynamites Scam Hub in PR Move as Global Pressure Grows

Myanmar’s junta is dynamiting buildings in KK Park, the notorious scam hub overseen by its Karen Border Guard Force (BGF) ally near the Thai border in Myawaddy Township, Karen State, according to locals and the BGF.

Colonel Saw Tin Win of the BGF told the Karen Information Center media outlet that it granted permission for the demolition to improve the BGF and regime’s reputation in the eyes of the world.

Blasting in KK Park reportedly began on October 23 as the junta faced mounting international pressure over accusations it is profiting from the multibillion-dollar scam industry thriving along its border.
