Myanmar junta airstrikes and naval artillery injure civilians in Launglon township clashes

Three civilians, including an infant and a mother, were injured as junta aircraft and a navy ship fired artillery shells in support of their ground troops during clashes in Launglon Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, according to revolutionary forces and local residents.
Fighting erupted on the morning of 13 March and lasted until the afternoon when joint anti-junta revolutionary forces launched an attack on the Maung Ma Kan police station in Maung Ma Kan village and the Lat Khat Taung Tower Tine hill camp in Launglon Township.
During the battle, junta forces deployed jet fighters to drop bombs and used machine guns to strafe the area. Additionally, artillery fire was launched from the junta’s police station and military camp, while a navy ship also provided support by shelling nearby areas. The clashes occurred approximately six miles from Launglon Township. The number of casualties on both sides remains unknown.
