Military headquarters stunned by revolutionary forces’ advance to Nay Pyi Taw

A military lobbyist stated that the advance of the revolutionary forces toward Nay Pyi Taw was a setback, and CDM Captain Zin Yaw noted that the military headquarters was almost terrified.


On November 12, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) conducted a raid on a military security outpost located in Uttarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, and cleared the outpost once more on November 13.


The Yadanar Myay-based security outpost is located in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw.


According to the PLA, weapons, ammunition, and military equipment were confiscated during the operation to clear the outpost.


Likewise, in Nay Pyi Taw, the camp gate of the "Leyka" bridge in Tat Kone Township was assaulted by revolutionary forces during the night of the 11th of this month.


This attack resulted in the deaths of two individuals from the military regime, while an officer sustained injuries and was subsequently hospitalized, as reported by the Nay Pyi Taw Tat Kone PDF Battalion No. 803.


This camp is located at Milepost No. 239 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Tat Kone Township.  The revolutionary forces struck it at 9:45 p.m. on November 11.


In response to the incursion into Nay Pyi Taw by revolutionary forces, a military lobbyist stated that the People's Defense Forces (PDFs) are infiltrating areas such as Tat Kone and are spreading to Nay Pyi Taw.
