Many important changes took place in 2025, Acting President and Chairman of State Security and peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing


The Acting President made the remark in his New Year’s message for 2026.


The Acting President said that in 2025, friendly relations with friendly countries were able to strengthen, provide domestic products with access to foreign markets, and increase domestic and foreign investment in key areas of domestic need.


The Acting President said that peace talks, including the 10th anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), were also held, and important foundations were laid for lasting peace.

Since the election is being held in phases, it is necessary for voters in the remaining townships to fully exercise their rights as Myanmar citizens and participate in the ongoing election.


Throughout the tenure, the Acting President has worked hard to ensure the stability and development of the country, and will continue to work to hand over the responsibilities of the country to the government that will emerge after the election and carry out the second page in the best possible way, he said.


He urged all people and ethnic brethren to reach the goal of democracy, which is the victory of all in 2026, and to pass on the good heritage to the next generation of the country.
