Junta says polls will be held even in opposition-controlled areas

The junta’s election commission says it will hold December polls even in towns and regions it no longer controls, including areas under the NUG, ethnic armies, and powerful groups like the Wa and Mong La forces—territories where the military has lost its grip since the coup.
