In an interview with the Arakan Army (AA) spokesperson U Khaing Thu Kha, he said that the junta forces killed more than 900 innocent civilians and wounded more than 2,000 others during the conflict in Rakhine, which lasted from November 13, 2023 to July 2025.
The data came from the assault on civilians carried out by junta forces utilizing naval, aerial, and artillery fire.
He made the announcement during the tenth online press conference of the AA, which took place on August 11.
"Field records indicate that some people died from torture during their arbitrary arrest, while others were killed by the terrorist fascist military council's air, naval, and artillery fire. There may be more," he said.
