Junta army detains 30 Muslims at night in Sittwe’s Bu May village

According to sources, the junta army detained approximately 30 local Muslims at night in the Bu May Muslim village close to Sittwe University in Rakhine State.
A sizable number of junta soldiers who entered the village in army vehicles took them into custody on the night of September 2, a source told Narinjara News.
“The army stormed Bu May Muslim village and captured around 30 Muslims on September 2, around 11 p.m.,” he stated.
However, the cause for the arrest is unclear as of late.
