Junta Airstrikes Target Vicinity of Ngapali Beach in Thandwe

The military junta launched continuous airstrikes near Ngapali Beach in Thandwe Township, Arakan, this morning.



Initial reports confirm that jet fighters and Y-12 utility aircraft have been continuously dropping bombs since 10:30 AM today (August 3).



The airstrikes initially targeted Jittaw Ward in Ngapali Town. Currently, at least 43 bombs have been dropped along Ngapali Beach and its surrounding areas.



Local residents in Thandwe report feeling frightened and are presently taking shelter inside bomb bunkers.
