Junta Airstrikes on Civilian Areas Amount to War Crimes, Says AA

U Khaing Thukha, spokesperson for the Arakan Army (AA), has denounced the junta's airstrikes on Kyauk Ni Maw village in Ramree Township, a civilian locality free from hostilities, labeling the assaults as war crimes. 

"Assaulting unarmed civilians in an area free from conflict is explicitly a war crime," he stated.
