Junta airstrikes kill 2 civilians, injure several more in Ann, Kantaunggyi towns

The military airstrikes on Ann town and Kantaunggyi town in the heart of Arakan (Rakhine) State resulted in civilian deaths and injuries.
On the afternoon of July 4, the junta's air force launched an aerial assault on Kantaunggyi, a sub town in the Mrauk U region's Myebon Township, dropping 500-pound (1000 kg) bombs that killed two civilians and injured several others, according to a local source.
"Homes and structures have fallen. We are aware of two fatalities. Additionally, several individuals are hurt. At this time, we are unable to distinguish the genders," he stated.
