Three houses were destroyed in an airstrike carried out by the junta in Tonzang Township, Chin State.

At 2:16 pm on October 14, the junta’s fighter jet dropped two bombs on the township’s administrative center, Tonzang Town, a local reported.

“The first bomb hit near the town’s fire station, and the second one landed in Khuavung Ward. The bombs damaged some houses, but thankfully no one was hurt because the buildings were empty,” he told Chin World.

Currently, residents of the two areas struck by the airstrike are taking refuge with relatives elsewhere.

In recent days, the junta has been conducting frequent air raids in Chin State. On October 13, it bombed a school in Vanha Village, Hakha Township, killing two students and injuring 21 others.
