The Junta navy bombarded the AA-held town of Thandwe, a district town in southern Rakhine state, with two shells on the evening of August 2, destroying a house.
At 3:35 p.m. and 3:37 p.m., the Navy fired shells from the sea.
The first shell was launched at 3:35 p.m. and landed in the yard of U Aung Tun's Jate-taw Ward No. 4, damaging the roof of the residence.
At 3:35 p.m., the second shell struck the west side of U Sein Aung Kyi's residence in Jate-taw Ward No. 4.
The first similar assault occurred after rumors that the junta army intended to attack towns under the AA's control along the Rakhine coast.
