Fascist Military Council Air Strike on Mee Zar Village in Paletwa Kills Mother and Child, Injures at Least Six Others

An airstrike by the military council forces on Mee Zar Village, Paletwa Township, yesterday (August 26) resulted in the deaths of an innocent mother and her child, while leaving at least six others injured.

At around 4:30 PM on August 26, the terrorist military council launched the attack using five jet fighters, dropping approximately 50 bombs on Mee Zar Village and its surrounding areas.

The bombing directly hit a home, killing the mother and child living inside, and injuring at least six other people.

Additionally, the military council carried out another airstrike on Shwe Laik Wa Village in Paletwa Township at midnight on August 25.

Earlier on August 24, an airstrike on Sein Nhyin Wa Village in Paletwa Township killed five people including two young children and injured 17 others, among whom were eight 10-year-old primary school children.
