The European Union (EU) declared on the evening of April 7 that it will allocate an extra 10 million euros for earthquake assistance in Myanmar.

The European Commission has allocated an extra €10 million in humanitarian assistance following the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that hit Myanmar and its neighboring areas on March 28, as stated.
