Death toll rises to 33 civilians with 76 injured in Myanmar military junta bombing on Mrauk-U hospital: U Khaing Thu Kha

The military of Myanmar conducted aerial bombardments on the public hospital in Mrauk-U, leading to the tragic loss of 33 lives, which included patients, and leaving 76 individuals injured.
“At 9 o'clock in the evening. On December 10, two fighter jets released two 500-pound bombs onto the public hospital in Mrauk-U. A total of 33 civilians, among them women, lost their lives, while 76 additional individuals sustained injuries. The attack on the hospital is regarded as a violation of international law," stated U Khaing Thu Kha, spokesperson of the Arakan Army.
Among the 33 individuals who passed away, 17 were males and 16 were females. Among the 27 individuals who were injured, 18 were males and 7 were females. Furthermore, 49 individuals experienced slight injuries.
On December 10, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the Myanmar Air Force released two 500-pound bombs on Mrauk-U Hospital. This attack led to the deaths of 33 individuals and caused injuries to 76 others, according to a report from a woman in Mrauk-U to Narinjara News.
“I cannot bear to see the bodies scattered around. In certain locations, the bodies are piled up. I needed to return from the place I was observing. Upon my arrival, I discovered that 33 individuals had lost their lives. I was concerned about those who were critically hurt; they might not survive. Nearly 80 individuals have sustained injuries. Some are still unaccounted for," she stated.
She also noted that the majority of those who passed away were women, including pregnant women.
