Death toll in Zin Chaung Kone Bwe village in Kyaukphyu, reaches 8, with 18 injured in junta airstrikes

Three more individuals were killed in the bombing of Zin Chaung Kone Bwe village in Kyaukphyu township, Rakhine State, bringing the death toll of displaced persons to eight and 18 injured, according to local residents.


According to a local source who reported to Narinjara, five displaced individuals from the area were killed when the junta's air force dropped two 500-pound bombs on the village at approximately 4 pm on October 30. Additionally, three more people have died today, October 31.


“Eight individuals have lost their lives. Additional fatalities may occur. There are also individuals who have suffered dismemberment. The bodies of some individuals are present in a state of disarray at the location. We are continuing to verify the individuals who have not yet been identified,” he said.
