In November, at least three major generals and above in the junta faced prosecution, and a deputy minister is currently being investigated.
Chief of Staff (Air) Lieutenant General Zaw Win Myint was removed from his position after proposing that the number of flights for air force pilots should be decreased, for they are exhausted.
Northwestern Region (NaMaKha) Commander Major General Myo Min Htwe is currently being investigated for issues related to corruption and operational shortcomings, whereas the Coastal Region Commander, Major General Kyaw Kyaw Han, is currently being investigated regarding the seizure of Mawdaung by revolutionary forces.
It has been reported that Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy Thant Sin is currently under investigation for embezzlement and bribery.
