Burmese junta bombs the towns of Kyaukphyu, Rathedaung, Mrauk-U overnight

According to reports, the Burmese military carried out airstrikes overnight in the Rakhine state towns of Kyaukphyu, Rathedaung, and Mrauk-U.
From 11 p.m. on August 8 through the early hours of August 9, junta jets bombed the townships of Kyaukphyu, Rathedaung, and Mrauk-U.
The military council launched an attack on the Min Pyin village monastery, the Dhammayon, and the high school in Kyaukphyu township on the full moon day of the month of Wakaung, which is the Buddhist holy day, at around 11 p.m. on August 8, killing and injuring people.
