Arakan Army provides free vaccinations to children under 3 in all AA-governed townships with no vaccinations for nearly 2 years

The Public Health Department of the Arakan Army (AA), part of the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government, has provided free vaccinations to children in AA-administered townships, where vaccinations have not been given for nearly two years.

Vaccinations have begun in certain townships and will proceed in others, an AA-affiliated source confirmed to Narinjara.

“We will administer vaccinations to all children, neighborhood by neighborhood, with registration details to be provided at a later time,” the source stated.

The existing vaccinations consist of polio, tetanus, and various monthly and yearly vaccines recommended for children.
