71 from junta military surrender, detained amid conflicts in Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady regions, says AA statement

The Arakan Army (AA) has detained 71 individuals, including those who willingly surrendered to the Arakan Army (AA) in three operational regions: Bago, Magway, and Ayeyarwady. This information was communicated in a press release by the AA on November 11, which included accompanying photographs.


According to the statement, there are 30 individuals from Kapasa 16, an arms manufacturing location in Myanmar, along with a corporal from the Nat Yay Kan air defense base situated in the Magway Region, as well as up to 40 individuals from Tharpaung and Lay Myat Nar Townships in the Ayeyarwady Region.


On November 8, 9, and 10, 2025, a total of 16 individuals were detained during conflicts occurring near Kapasa 16.
