Thailand conference launches international initiative to fight online scams
Thailand on Thursday helped launch a global effort to fight the spread of online scams that include criminal enterprises based largely in Southeast Asia estimated to bilk billions of dollars annually from victims around the world. Norway Parliament Probes Telenor for Handover of Myanmar Opposition Data
Norway’s Parliament has launched a probe into reports that state‑controlled telecoms giant Telenor exposed hundreds of Myanmar opposition figures to arrest and detention during its exit from the country after the 2021 coup. Mandalay Resistance Caught in Claws of Myanmar Junta Pincer
Fierce fighting has erupted 11 kilometers from Singu town, as Myanmar junta forces advance on one of the last major resistance strongholds in Mandalay Region.
