In Kyaukpyu, Arakan State, the conflict between the Arakan Army and the junta army is getting worse every day, but there is no ground warfare apart from the drone strikes and powerful artillery shells from both sides in Sittwe.
A Sittwe resident claims that despite the calm environment, the sounds of heavy gunfire are frequently heard, and the fire is heard from outside the city.
"The military is utilizing drones to scout and bombard the towns under the control of the Arakan Army (AA). Since the military first attacked, the AA has retaliated. The AA is retaliating.
The heavy weapons have been used in combat nearly daily this month. They mostly use drones in combat. Heavy weapons," he said.
