Waw Township People’s Defence Force attacked the junta’s Nyaung Kar Shay X-Ray Gate on Yangon-Mawlamyein Road.
In Minhla Township of Bago Region, a former soldier, who had been serving the military junta again, was shot dead.
The spokesperson of the NUG’s Presidential Office U Kyaw Zaw asserted that the NUG does not recognize the agreements signed during the junta leader’s trip to Russia. He also warned that such contracts and agreements would be just rubbish after the victory of the revolution.
In No. (1) Military Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG, a person conscripted by force for the junta’s Regiment (99), along with weaponry, defected to Minbu District PDF (2).
On March 6, two people, who had been arrested in Yanaung in Thailand, deported to Kawthaung and conscripted by force, defected to the Myeik PDF.
On March 5, there was an online meeting among Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw, the NUG and an elected lawmaker of South Korea’s Parliament to keep cooperating to support Myanmar refugees in Thailand and Myanmar migrants.
