The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In Southern Shan State, 3 new members conscripted for the junta’s Ka-Ma-Ya (422) based in Mobye defected to Pekone People’s Defence Force (1006).

· In Kalaywa Township of Sagaing Region, a junta soldier, along with weaponry, defected to local PDF. Reportedly, he was rewarded 50 lakh MMK.

· In January, Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG provided aid worth 918.23 million MMK to those in need.

· On Sunday, Ministry of Labor-NUG conducted a meeting among government, employers and employees (2/2025).
