• U Tun Myint, a secretary of the Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw, stated that in the meeting with ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR), they mainly discussed the call not to recognize the election to be held by the military junta.

• In Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region, Local People’s Security Force attacked a junta camp in Thilone Village.

• On Thursday, the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public’s Administration conducted a meeting (8/2025).

• In Mon State, there was an attack using projectiles on the central watch gate and the bachelors’ hall of the junta’s Light Inventory Unit (310) based in Theinzayat. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died.

• In Monywa Township, junta soldiers reentered MRTV Hill Camp (Bawdi Tataung), which had been seized, cleared and deserted by local PDF. Reportedly, they have been preparing to invade nearby villages.
