Myanmar junta airstrikes kill four civilians, injure children in Mogok and Kyaukme

Myanmar’s military carried out airstrikes on areas controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region, and Kyaukme Township, northern Shan State, killing four civilians including women and injuring several schoolchildren, according to local sources.
At around 9:30 am, junta aircraft dropped bombs on Khaung Oo Bar neighbourhood in Kyatpyin town, west of Mogok. The strike destroyed five houses and killed three civilians, including two elderly individuals, according to residents.
Another strike targeted a private high school in the western part of Mogok, killing three people identified as Ma Pyu, Ayi, and Ko Toe, while injuring several children who were in class at the time, a local source said.
