Military Junta Intensifies Attacks on Kyaikto and Bilin with Mortar Shells, Drone Strikes, and Airstrikes

The military junta launched mortar shell attacks, drone strikes, and airstrikes on Kyaikto and Bilin Townships in Mon State, causing injuries to a resident and damaging multiple homes and businesses, according to a statement from the Karen National Union (KNU).

On January 19, around noon, the junta’s Artillery Battalion 310th fired an 81 mm mortar shell, which exploded in Khaywea Village.
