A strong earthquake struck central Myanmar on Friday (Mar 28), with tremors felt in Thailand and China.
There was no immediate word from Myanmar authorities on damage, but one of the biggest hospitals in capital Naypyidaw was described by officials as a "mass casualty area".
In Bangkok, hundreds of people rushed onto the streets as buildings shook, and dozens of workers were trapped when an under-construction skyscraper collapsed.
