BGF and DKBA meet Chinese businessmen to address transnational crime and human trafficking


Myawady – Colonel Saw Chit Thu of the Karen Border Guard Force (BGF) confirmed that officials from the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA) recently held a meeting with Chinese businessmen in Myawady, focusing on transnational crime, including fraud and human trafficking.


The meeting, reported by Thai news agency Khaosod, was part of ongoing efforts to address illegal activities along the border. Discussions centered on strengthening measures to combat human trafficking, with a focus on fraudulent practices and abusive labor conditions.
