Arakan Army warns of terrorist attacks on non-Muslims near border

The Arakan Army (AA) has issued a security alert, warning residents of the Maungdaw district that militants from the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO) are targeting and killing non-Muslim civilians.

According to the AA, these terrorist groups, based in Bangladesh, are infiltrating Arakan State via the Naf River and Mayu Mountain routes.

In a recent statement, the AA reported that ARSA and RSO militants have ambushed and kidnapped non-Muslims, often while they are collecting firewood or searching for food.
