51 more foreigners detained at KK Park

51 more foreigners were detained on October 30 for online gambling and online fraud in the KK Park area of Myawaddy-Me Htaw Tha Lay, Kayin State,according to the Ministry of Immigration and Population.

The foreign nationals who were detained included 28 Indonesians, 20 Filipinos, Two Nepalese, and one Vietnamese, totaling 51.

The joint teams of the departments are collecting the necessary personal information and records to ensure the speedy repatriation of these foreign nationals to their respective countries.

From January 30 to October 30 this year, 10,691 foreigners who entered Myanmar illegally were detained, and 9,365 of them were transferred to their respective countries through Thailand in accordance with the procedures. The remaining foreign nationals 1,326 are also ready to be transferred to their respective countries.
